He is survived by his parents, siblings, and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Eli Armstrong, the former Zella Townsend, his siblings being, John and Ronald Armstrong, Phoebe Simmons, Mrs. O.M. Bobbitt, and Mrs. Jack Weaver.

He worked for Fisher Body Corporation and was a World War II veteran.
