Mrs. John Armstrong died at 3 o’clock Sunday morning, and was buried at 3:30 o’clock Sunday afternoon. The funeral services were held at the residence and were conducted by Rev. J. George Gibson of the Baptist Church. The deceased was the daughter of John Linn and the sister of Barney and John Linn, Jr. She was an estimable and highly esteemed lady.
22-year-old Mrs. John Armstrong was interred, per the Chico Cemetery Association Records, in the plot noted, on September 10, 1893.
