Betty was born on February 3, 1943 in Springfield Missouri to Virgil R. and Anna Marie Mikesell.
Betty was a graduate from Central High School in 1961. Betty married Michael L. Arnall on December 22, 1962 and were in love for 49 years. One of her passions was reading books, she loved to read and had many friends at the library.
One of her most precious treasures in her life was her grandaughter Katie. She loved taking Katie to the Nature Center and the library. Betty loved chilkdren and dedicated her adult life caring for and educating children.
She worked for Cox Medicial Center Daycare for 10 years, then successfully went on to educate special needs children at Willard Elementary for 14 years before retiring.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Virgil R.(Rick) Mikesell Jr.
She is survived by her husband Michael, their two daughters Michele L. Arnall Reed(Darrell Reed) and Mendy Arnall Phillips, one grandaughter Katie Reed, sister Jeannie Mikesell Feazell (Johnny), neice Johnna Feazell and nephew Jon Feazell and a host of extended family and friends.
Graveside services will be Tuesday July 12 at 10 00 a.m. at Danforth Cemetery,with Brothwer Cecil Tolbert officiating, under the direction of Greenlawn North Funeral Home. No formal visitation is planned, friends may call Monday in the funeral home after 2 00 p.m.
Mmemorial contributions are suggested to Hillside Baptist Church Building Fund., in Bettys memory.
