Eleanor A. (Hunt) Arnold, 85, formerly of 169 Park Ave., Woonsocket, a former church organist, died Dec. 31 at Overlook Nursing Home, Pascoag. She was the wife of the late Carlton H. Arnold. Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Walter Scott Hunt and Alice Schnorr. She had been the organist at St. James Episcopal Church for 25 years before retiring in 1972. She was a piano and organ teacher for years in Woonsocket, and was a member of the Beethoven Club. She was a graduate of Boston University. She leaves two sons, Dwight C. Arnold of Meredth, N.H., and Wayne S. Arnold of Burrillville; a sister, Ruth H. Souler of Cranston; and three grandchildren.
