Mildred E. (Arnold) Anderson of North Main St., Slatersville, died on Sunday, July 14, 2002, at Overlook Nursing Home, Pascoag. She was the wife of the late Ralph H. Anderson.
Born Oct. 10, 1914 in Burrillville, she was the daughter of the late Edwin S. and Martha A. (Helm) Arnold.
Mrs. Anderson was the Lunch Lady in the North Smithfield School System for 18 years, retiring in 1977. She had previously worked at Stillwater Worsted in Harrisville and at the Slatersville Finishing Co.
She was a member of the Slatersville Congregational Church and was active with the church's ladies guild.
She is survived by two nephews, Dean Bailey of Westerly and Arnold Bailey of North Smithfield.
In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a sister, Edna Bailey.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 S. Main St., Woonsocket. Calling hours Wednesday are from 5 to 8 p.m.
