Basil Burley Arthur, 82, of South Charleston died Tuesday, March 19, 1996, in Thomas Memorial Hospital. He retired from OK Trucking Co. with 25 years of service. He was a member of Charleston Masonic Lodge 153 AF&AM, Scottish Rite Bodies, Beni Kedem Temple, Kanawha Valley Communications Club and Teamsters Local 175. Surviving: wife, Kathryn Arthur; son, Stephen D. of St. Albans; brother, Lonnie of Sycamore, Ohio; sisters, Tressie Rapp of Summersville, Nona Hart of Akron, Ohio; granddaughter, Stephanie Nester of Kaiserslautern, Germany; three great-grandchildren.
