Bernice E. Ashby, 77, of 6548 Stevens Road, Jordan, died Wednesday at her home.
Mrs. Ashby was a life resident of Jordan. She retired in 1976 as a licensed practical nurse with Van Duyn Home and Hospital. Mrs. Ashby was a graduate of Jordan High School.
Mrs. Ashby was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church, Jordan.
Surviving are her husband, H. Stanton; two sons, William F. of Elkhart, Ind., and John E. of Marcellus; a daughter, Sharon F. Denniston of Baldwinsville; a sister, Eloise Loveless of Chittenango; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 9:45 a.m. Saturday at B.L. Bush & Sons Funeral Home, Jordan, and 10 a.m. in St. Patrick's Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Weedsport.
