Lettie Ashe Alexander, 93, of Hayesville, was a daughter of the late Claude and Maude Cabe Ashe. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Alexander, who died in 1964; sisters, Nina Lee Burch and Sue Blankenship; brothers, Clyde, Earl, Ernest, Glen, and Jack Ashe.
She was a native of Clay County, but moved to Gastonia in 1941 where she lived until moving back to Clay County in 2009. She had worked in the textile industry and was a member of the Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in Gastonia.
Interment will be in Union Hill Cemetery.
