In the 1901 census, the Tate family were living at Walpole Terrace, Clontarf.

present were,
Richard Tate, aged 63, a Clerk in Holy Orders, married, born in Co. Leitrim.
Elizabeth, his wife, aged 66, married, born in Co. Monaghan.

Margaret Elizabeth, daughter, aged 26, single, born in Co. Leitrim.
Alicia Ashe, sister-in-law, aged 68, single, born in Co. Tyrone

Margaret Regan, aged 38, a domestic servant was also present.



In the 1911 census, the Tate family were living at Castle Avenue, Clontarf.

present were,
Elizabeth Tate, aged 76, a widow, born in Co. Monaghan.
She had 3 children, all of whom were living.
Margaret Elizabeth, daughter, aged 36, single, born in Co. Leitrim.
Alicia Ashe, a visitor, aged 78, single, born in Co. Tyrone

Margaret Regan, aged 48, a domestic servant was also present.
