Mrs. Bertha Searle, Former Trojan, Dies
Mrs. Bertha Ashley Searle, 88, former Troy resident, died today at her residence in Cambridge, Mass. She was the widow of Frank S. Searle and had resided in Cambridge for the last 30 years.
Mrs. Searle was born in Athens, N.Y. and is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Zachariah Chafee, Jr., Cambridge.
Funeral services will be held at Cambridge Saturday with Rev. Gardner Day, rector of Christ Episcopal Church, that city officiating. Internment will take place in Athens in the spring.
