Ms. Adams was a retired school teacher. She was born the daughter of Charles and Zilla (Williams) Ashmore. She married Willard Wade Adams in Hugo, OK on July 31, 1948. She was also a very well known loving sister, friend, aunt and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Ada Jean was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Willard on September 8, 2000, her daughter Kathy Adams at age 12, one brother, Allan Wayne Ashmore and one sister, Melba Jean Ashmore. Ada Jean is survived by one sister, Charlene Goodman and husband Lawrence of Oklahoma City, OK. Funeral services for Ada Jean will be held Thursday, August 19, 2004 at the Ft. Towson High School Gymnasium at 2:00 p.m. with interment following in the Sobol Cemetery in Sobol, OK. Family will receive friends Wednesday, August 18, 2004 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home chapel in Hugo, OK
