Marjorie Ashmore Allen, of 206 Hollywood Drive, died April 4, 2004, at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Born in Greenville County, she was a daughter of the late Malvin and Nellie Wright Ashmore. She was retired from Dan River Textile Plant.
Survivors are sons, Michael (Yolande) Allen and Ronald (Lois) Allen, of Greenville; sisters, Julia (Roy) Williams, Gail Robinson, of Greenville; brothers, Rufus Ashmore and Winfred Ashmore, of Greenville; six grandchildren, Shanda D. Allen, Michael E. Allen Jr., Kevin P. Allen, Amber Allen, Astin Allen and Christopher Allen; a great-grandson, Kevin Allen; an aunt, Delores Wright, of Greenville; a special friend, Brock Adams, of Dacusville; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral service: 3 p.m. Friday at Friendship Baptist Church, with burial at Pleasant View Baptist Church Cemetery.
