Born Dec. 6 1892 in Fresno, CA, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Ashton. Lived 65 years in Rockford, coming here from California. Married to Ray W. Alberts in Rockford, Dec. 6, 1911. Member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Survivors include: her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Violet Tripp, Washington, and Mrs. Doris Parker, Rockford; one son, Robert L., Rockford, and six grandchildren.

Services at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 28, in Burpee-Wood Funeral Home, 420 N. Main St., with the Rev. Dr. O. Garfield Beckstrand, pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial in Greenwood Cemetery.
