Born in Wichita, Kansas, she was the wife of Carl Edwin Anderson and daughter of the late Harold Ashton and Pauline Parman Ashton. She was employed with Hartford Insurance Group in Charlotte, N.C., and was of the Christian faith.
In addition to her husband, surviving are a sister, Dixie Ashton Bridges and husband, Bruce, of Wichita, Kansas.
The family will receive friends from 6:30-7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 22, at Blakely Funeral Home. A memorial service will immediately follow at 7:30 p.m. in Blakely Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Ashby Blakely officiating.
