Funeral services for Halldor Asmundson, Calgary, a resident of Alberta for the past 31 years, who died Thursday at the residence, 826 22nd Avenue Southeast, were held Monday at 2:30 from Jacques funeral home, Rev. Dr. George A. Dickson officiating. Interment followed in the Burnsland cemetery. Mr. Asmundson came from Iceland to Red Deer in 1900, and resided here for 19 years, then went to Calgary where he had since resided. Besides his widow, he is survived by two sons, Waldie and Eggert, Calgary; a sister, in Iceland; a brother, August, of Red Deer, and two brothers in Iceland.
