Death was a result of severe head injuries he received in the rollover of his pickup truck on Highway 2, east of Blaisdell, last Thursday morning. The truck, which was demolished, ended up on an ice covered slough along the highway.
Rev. Larry Rehlanded officiated at the service, with music provided by Mrs. Nancy Neshem, soloist, and Mrs. Herman LeClair, organist. Burial was in the Tagus Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Bob Flaten, Willard Johnson, Jr., LeRoy Hall, Monte Trondson, Garth Myers and Dan Brown.
Guy was born April 9, 1954, in Minot, and was reared in Ree Township northwest of Berthold. He attended the Berthold School, graduating in 72 from Berthold High School. While a student he was active in Future Farmers of America, and played football, and was also active in the Luther League. He was a member of Zion Lutherans of Berthold. Since graduation, he had farmed with his parents in Ree Township, and this fall had been employed by Olaf Flaten in construction work.
