Astroth, Alice Jeanette (Lafferty) 85, was born 1929, in St. Louis, Missouri to Clarence and Myrtle Lafferty. Alice was recently living in Tucson, AZ and passed away peacefully surrounded by family on January 19, 2015. Alice and Fred were founding members of Cottonwood Presbyterian Church in Salt Lake City, UT and she was an active member in the Daughters of the American Revolution. She is survived by her husband, Frederick William Astroth, Jr., their three sons, 4 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Services: Alice will be cremated, her ashes interred at Jefferson Barracks in St. Louis. A memorial service will be held at the Cottonwood Presbyterian Church in Salt Lake City at 11:30 on January 30, 2015. Memorial donations can be made to Cottonwood Presbyterian Church, 1580 E Vine Street, Salt Lake City, UT 84121. She will be missed.
