Funeral services for C. W. Aswell, 63, who died at 5:30 a.m
Tuesday, August 23, 1949 at his home here, were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the First Baptist Church of Choudrant, with the Rev. R. A. Wiley, pastor of the church officiating. Burial was in the Longstraw Cemetery.
Mr. Aswell was a retired farmer, and a life-long resident of Lincoln Parish.
He is survived by his widow: Mrs. Lillie Emory Aswell; three sons: W. L. Aswell, Howard Aswell and Clarence W. "C. W." Aswell, Jr., all of Choudrant;two daughters: Mrs. A. R. Bennett of Eros; and Mrs. Cecil Edmiston of Choudrant; one sister: Mrs. Nina Richardson of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Funeral services were under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston.
