The Korean War Memorial Wall in Meadowvale Cemetery, 7732 Mavis Road, Brampton, Ontario, Canada.
Commemorating the 516 volunteer Canadian soldiers who served and died in the Korean War, the Wall of Remembrance is a curved 61 metre-long polished granite wall displaying 516 bronze plaques. There is also a large plaque in the centre which lists each Canadian Military Unit which participated in the Korean War. This Memorial Wall was erected by The Korea Veterans Association of Canada and dedicated on 27 July 1997.
These 516 Canadians are commemorated in the Korean War Book of Remembrance.
Gunner Arden Joseph ATCHISON was being deployed to serve during the Korean War; he died on 21 Nov 1950 and was laid to rest in the Christ The King Roman Catholic Cemetery in Loon Lake, Saskatchewan.
He is remembered with honour at the Korean War Memorial Wall.
