DEATHS - In Boston, 14th, inst. at the residence of A. Lawrence, Esq, Mrs. Mary Means, relict of the late Hon. Robert Means, of this town, aged 85. Her remains were brought here on Wednesday, and entombed in the family vault. And on Wednesday, died in this place [Amherst NH], her daughter-in-law, Mrs. CATHARINE MEANS, widow of the late Col. David M'G Means, aged 54 - leaving a large family of children some of them young, to ___, and mourn the loss of a kind, affectionate mother, and faithful guardian of their tender years. She died in the faith and hope of the gospel of a resurrection to life eternal in the kingdom of her Redeemer. Both of the deceased, have for many years been characterized by a life of exemplary piety; and holding a prominent stand in the community, have shown forth their professions in well ordered lives and conversation, which has commended them to the high respect, and greatly endeared them to the affections of all their neighbors. And while these sympathize with near relatives in their heavy bereavement; society and the church have to lament the loss of some of their brightest ornaments and most valued members.
