He was a retired shop foreman for the Army National Guard, Point Pleasant. He was a member of Pearl Harbor, Survivors Association and an Army veteran of World War II.
He lived most of his life in the Kanawha Valley.
Surviving, son, Gary W. of Pittsburgh, David M. Jr. of Huntsville, Ala; daughter, Sandra K. Price of Irving, Texas; sisters, Virginia Jarrett and Betty Arnold, both of St. Albans, Lucille Lemon of Charleston; brother, Donald T. of Blue Rock, Ohio; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
