ALMA EVA BELK ATKINSON, 89, of Jackson, Tenn., formerly of Sardis, Miss., and Memphis, retired employee of Baptist Memorial Hospital, died of complications from Alzheimer disease Monday at Forest Cove Nursing Home. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Memory Hill Gardens. Forest Hill Funeral Home East has charge.
She was a member of Sardis First Baptist Church.
Mrs. Atkinson, the widow of John Louis Atkinson, leaves a son, Thomas R. Atkinson of Jackson; a sister, Lena Mae Boling of Sardis, a granddaughter and a great-grandson.
