Geneva A. Blosser Atkinson, 73, of Spencer, died Saturday, Jan. 27,
1996, at Roane General Hospital.
She was born in Calhoun County, a daughter of the late Bud and Ruth
Starcher Blosser. She was a homemaker and a member of Leatherbark
Community Church.
Surviving are her husband, Raymond Atkinson; two stepdaughters,
Shirley Atkinson and Penny Webb, both of Spencer; four stepsons,
Ralph Carpenter of Arnoldsburg, Ray Atkinson, Ronnie Atkinson and
Roger Atkinson, all of Spencer; one brother, Elijah Blosser of
Arnoldsburg; and several stepgrandchildren, great-grandchildren,
nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Jeanette Blosser.
Services were held at Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home, Spencer, with Rev.
Carl Marks officiating. Burial was in Starcher Cemetery near
Arnoldsburg.
