Conway Sept 17 (Special) Mrs. Mary Harris Atwater Barrett, widow of A. W. Barrett of Conway died in a local hospital at 11:05 this morning following a lingering illness.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 Sunday afternoon from the Kingston Presbyterian Church here by the Rev NC Kirkland. Burial will follow in Lakeside Cemetery.
Friends may call the Goldfinch Funeral Home.
Mrs. Barrett was born in North Carolina, a daughter of the late J. Nat and Lillie Cannon Atwater, and was a member of the Kingston Presbyterian Church. Her husband owned and operated the Horry Hardware Company here until his death in 1936.
Survivors include one son AW Barrett of Myrtle Beach and one brother W Briggs Atwater of Bynum NM
