Age 94, passed away Tuesday evening after a long illness. He was born October 19, 1880 in Chicago and had been a Kaukauna area resident most of his life. He was employed at Thilmany Pulp and Paper Company for over 35 years prior to his retirement January 1, 1950. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Kaukauna, and Thilmany's Quarter Century Club. Survivors include his wife, Eva Killian Auden, two daughters, Mrs. Walter (Romaine) VerHaagh of Pulaski, Miss Agnes Auden of Kaukauna, three sons, Wilbert of Manchester, Connecticut, Lester and Norbert both of Kaukauna, 12 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren. A daughter, Genevieve preceded him in death. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Mary Catholic Church in Kaukauna with the Rev. Charles Fredericks officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the Greenwood Funeral Home after 4 p.m. on Thursday. A prayer service will be held Thursday at 8 p.m.
