Mrs. C.C. (Agnes) Ainsworth, 82, died Monday at 8:15 am in the St. John's Hospital in San Angelo.
Services were held here in the First United Methodist Church and burial followed in the Foster Cemetery under the direction of Ross Funeral Home.
Officiating at the service was the pastor, Rev. Ed Wilder. He was assisted by Presbyterian minister C. A. Tucker.
Mrs. Ainsworth was born October 28, 1897, in Coleman County. She had been a resident of Sterling City for 74 years and was married to Clell C. Ainsworth November 14, 1922 in Sterling City. He died in 1977. She was a Methodist and a 49-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She had been treasurer of the local chapter 25 years.
Survivors include one brother, Lee Augustine of Sterling City; two sisters, Mrs. Preston (Mae) Davis of Bronte and Mrs. J. P. (Lela Belle) of Sterling...
