Born Aug. 23, 1880 in Fulton, Ky., he came to Globe in 1905. He owned and operated the C.A. Austin Investment Company, 430 N. Broad St. in Globe. He was a member of White Mountain Lodge 3, F.&A.M., and to all the York Rites bodies of Globe. He was survived by his wife, Freda; son, Carryl C.; daughter, Mrs. Ruth Ashby; two brothers, William and Roy; two sisters, Mrs. Pat Dean and Mrs. Otto Hall.
