Vinc Axler who has been farming on the Provan place three miles northwest of Traer and batching it, was married in Toledo this week to Miss Anna Kolpek, a niece of Mike Kolpek, of Grant township. The bride's home is in Michigan, but she has been stopping a few weeks with her uncle. The couple will live on the Provan farm.

The above named lady, living northwest of Traer who has been failing several months, died Friday night last, of tuberculosis. She was but twenty-one years of age. Seven months ago, she was a bride. Her health had not been good, and it continued to fail and for five months she has been seriously ill and steadily declining. Her maiden name was Anna Kolpek. She came from Praline, Michigan, to visit her uncle, Mike Kolpek, near Dinsdale, met Vince Axler and the two were married within a few weeks. The funeral was held on Monday forenoon, services being conducted by Father Broz, of Clutier, in the new Catholic church in Traer. It was liberally attended. Deceased leaves a father, mother, two sisters and a brother in Michigan, none of whom were here. The illness of the mother is given as the reason. Burial was in Buckingham cemetery.
