Aylward, Albert J. 'Baldy', 72, resident of Stanley St., North Sydney passed away Tuesday, June 15, 2004 at the Northside General Hospital. Born in North Sydney March 18, 1932, he was the son of the late Frank and Mary (Hickey) Aylward.He is survived by his second wife Theresa (Rideout) Aylward; five sons, Brian, North Sydney; John (Josie), Montreal; Frank (Suzanne Sable), Toronto; Derrick (Helen), Cambridge, Ont.; Joseph (Beverly), North Sydney and one daughter Wanda (Kevin) MacKay, Sydney; five brothers, Bill, Florida; Frank (Laura), North Sydney; Joe (Mary),Gabarus; Fred (Jean), Toronto; Richard (Gertie), Oshawa, Ont.; two sisters Theresa (Bill) Foskitt, Whitby, Ont.; Florence (Cyril) WIllerton, Mississauga. Ont.
Albert was predeceased by his first wife, Beatrice May (Peddle) Aylward; brothers, Jack, Mike and Leo and sisters, Alice and twin, Rose. Visitation today 7-9 pm. and Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. at W.J. Dooley Funeral home 107 Pleasant St., North Sydney. Funeral mass Friday at 10 am. at St. Joseph's Church North Sydney with Rev. Tom MacNeil officiating. Burial to follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Sydney.
