Peacefully at his home with family by his side on Wednesday, March 9th, 2011, Ernie Ayres at 84 years of age. Beloved husband of Doris Ayres (nee Ward). Loving father of John (Kelly), Peter (Pam), Paul (Tammy) and Melissa (Michael). Cherished grandfather of Caitlin, Brittani, Tyler, Ashley, Travis, Bailey and Keegan. Dear brother of George, Edward, John (Madge), Lloyd, sister Agnes and sister in law Iris, the late Henry and Mildred. Brother in law of Jean and Murray Spry, Reginald and Dorothy Ward, Marjorie Quinlin, Barbara Monk and Ronald Ward. Ernie will also be missed by his many nieces, nephews and close friends. A Graveside Service will be held this Saturday, March 12th, 2011 at Heritage Cemetery of St. Peter Cobourg at 2:00 pm.
