Alice E. Babcock, age 102, of Rice Lake, WI passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at the Heritage Manor in Rice Lake.

Alice Phillipsen was born September 17, 1912 and was later married to George R. Babcock. She lived her entire life in Rice Lake where she worked 30 years for Schultz Brothers Store in the cashier office. Alice was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church.

Alice Babcock is survived by 6 grandchildren, Stephen Babcock of Berlin, MD, Thomas Babcock of Whaleyville, MD, Carri Morones of Fullerton, CA, Sandy Frank of Jacksonville, FL, Shari Newmann of Norfolk, NE and Kristy Limberg of Shakopee, MN; 9 great-grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Babcock in 1972; 2 sons, Richard in 1987 and Jack in 2007; parents, 2 sisters and 3 brothers.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at Bethany Lutheran Church in Rice Lake, WI, with interment in Nora Cemetery in Rice Lake. Visitation will be held from 1 - 2 PM Tuesday at the Church.

In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Bethany Lutheran Church.
