Alan R. Babcock obituary
Alan Roy Babcock was born January 5, 1939 in Camas, Clark County, Washington. And was murdered August 19, 1978 in Roseville, California. Buried at the Sunset Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Sacramento, California on August 26, 1978.
Alan was the first child and son born to June Eva (Miller) and Bruce B. Babcock. He was joined later by a sisters Diana, Nola, Jemily and a brother Eddy,
Alan and his sister Diana both grew up in the Snoqualmie Falls Lumber Mill Community on Highland Drive which later became Snoqualmie, King County, Washington.
He first entered Snoqualmie Falls Elementary school and then went on to graduate from Mount Si High School on June 6, 1957. From there he entered the U. S. Air Force from 1958 to 1963 and settled in Sacramento, California to live.
He later married and had twin sons born to him Chuck and Chad Babcock. He loved his family and he worked hard to care for them. He had many friends and attended the church and kept the church bus running and helped build the church. He was volunteer fireman so working at night kept him very busy. He had a small farm for the kids to enjoy.
Enclosed is a picture of him smiling so something was said that made him smile that big. And I bet I know what it was.
His sister Diana
