Linda Kay Arnett, age 74 of Mishawaka, passed away at her home on Friday, April 15, 2016. Linda was born July 4, 1941 in Linton, Indiana to Jesse F. and Betty J. (Weaver) Bach. Following graduation from Mishawaka High School, she married Tommy W. Arnett on June 6, 1959. Tommy preceded her in death, passing away June 19, 1999.

Linda is survived by her mother, Betty June Bach of Mishawaka and her three daughters; Debbie Wolf, Lori Polston, and Dianna (Mark) Lawson, all of Elkhart. Also surviving are seven grandchildren; Derek (Rachael) Polston, Doug (Cayla) Polston, Matt (Kara) Polston, Kaylee Wolf, Josh (Sarah) Polston, Reggie Lawson, and Jamie Lawson. Also surviving are seven great grandchildren; Hannah, MaKenna, Rylan, Drew, Hannah Rose, Lauren and Calan. Surviving as well are her siblings Jerry (Vicki) Bach of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and Becky (Rich) Carlton of Osceola. She was preceded in death by her father and a grandson Mark Douglas Polston Jr.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 pm Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at Zimmerman Inman Funeral Home in Osceola. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at Zimmerman Inman Funeral Home with interment to follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.

Linda was homemaker for many years as she raised her family and later became an instructional tutor at Battel Elementary in Mishawaka. In her youth, she was a member of the Rainbow Girls, Mishawaka Chapter, and became the Worthy Advisor of the group. She was also past President of the Mishawaka Schools PTA, and the softball association at Southwest Little League, and was an avid sports fan.

Her greatest passion was her family. She was an amazing mother, grandmother and great grandmother to her family, and enjoyed spending time with them at home and supporting them at their athletic events.

In her memory, donations may be given to the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life.
