ALBRECHT, Helen Ruth (nee Bach) May 6, 1926 – March 10, 2012 Helen passed away, after a lengthy illness, at Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, Kitchener in her 86th year. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Lloyd Albrecht in 1999. Helen is survived by her children, Patricia Lines (Garry) of Milverton, Terry (Kathy) of B.C., and Tim (Corrie) of Kitchener; grandchildren, Todd, Trevor, Cory, Craig, Laura, Jon, Seely and Chloe; great-grandchildren, Connor, Reese and Hendrix, and sister, Grace Bach and brother, Carl Bach. Predeceased by her parents, Andrew and Annie (Birmingham) Bach; and brothers, Andy, Gordon, and Bill Bach. Before retirement, Helen owned and operated the Crosshill General Store. She also enjoyed her time with Great Canadian Tours as a travel co-ordinator for 27 years. According to Helen's wishes, cremation has taken place. Relatives and friends are invited to share memories of Helen during memorial visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Friday, March 16, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The memorial service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, March 17, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Mark Urquhart officiating. A reception will immediately follow the service. Private family interment at St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery, Linwood at a later date. In memory of Helen, donations to the Children's Wish Foundation or St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Linwood may be arranged by contacting the funeral home at www.erbgood.com or 519-745-8445. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the caregivers who so tenderly and with such compassion cared for our mother.
