Margarete Barbara Bach was born Oct. 31, 1900, in Faulkton. She graduated from Fergus Falls, Minnesota, High School and taught country school for 14 years.
She married Herbert L. Anderson on Oct. 21, 1933, in Fergus Falls. They lived in Sioux Falls most of their married lives. Her husband died Dec. 21, 1996.
She was a member of First Presbyterian Church and Eastern Star.
Survivors include one son and two grandchildren.
Services begin at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, with burial in Hills of Rest Memorial Park.
Visitation begins at noon today at the funeral home.
