She graduated from Libby High School in 1976. In her senior year, she was chosen to tour Europe with an all-Montana High School Choir. She had a beautiful voice and was always singing.
She attended Eastern Montana College in Billings were she met and married Jim Lakel. They had two children, Jennifer and Jeffrey. They later divorced.
Diana worked for many years at St. Vincent's Hospital in Billings as a surgical technician.
She later married Donald G. Arthur.
She was proceeded in death by son Jeffrey James Lakel and husband Donald G. Arthur.
Survivors include her daughter Jennifer Lakel, granddaughters Samantha, Cadence and Madison; parents Lloyd and Virginia Bache, Brother Joe (LeeAnn) Bache, Sister Cathy (Rick) Oliver and Cheryl Brock. Many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
