He was a Navy veteran and served in both WWII and Korea. An avid outdoorsman he enjoyed camping at Anza Borrego State Park. He died peacefully at San Diego Hospice. Jim is survived by his former wife, Myrtle Bacon, of El Cajon; daughter, Sharon Snyder, of Morgan Ut; son,
Kevin Bacon, of La Mesa; three grandchildren, Vicki, Heather and Carra of Utah,and great-grandson, Garrett, of Utah. There are no services scheduled. Inurnment will be at Fort Rosecrans Natl Cemetery. Please sign the guest book at
