Charles was the son of Charles and Hattie Badger. He grew up in Dover, and served in the USAAF during World War II, 1943 - 1945. He married Therese Dionne on June 1st, 1946, and worked for the B&M Railroad. He was was tragically cut short in a tree-trimming accident.
