WILLIAM M. BAER, 73, died Saturday at Parkview Memorial Hospital. Born in Fort Wayne, he retired in 1977 (sic)was a forklift operator from Zollner Corp. He was a World War II and Korean War Navy veteran.
Surviving are a son, Jeffrey P. of Fort Wayne; two sisters, Maren Ferguson of Fort Wayne and Betty A. Crandall of Melbourne, Fla.; a brother, James M. of Garrett; and two grandchildren. His wife, Phyllis, died in 1990. He was also preceded in death by four sons, John D., Gerald W., Daniel W. and Joseph A.
Services at 1 p.m. Tuesday at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave. Calling from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday. Military graveside services in Covington Memorial Gardens. Memorials to Muscular Dystrophy Association.
