Mrs Baer was born in Clinton County on August 15, 1875, the daughter of John Louis and Nancy (Curts) Hengst Sr. On July 16, 1896 she was married to Moses P Baer, who passed away January 18, 1942.
Mrs. Baer was a member of the Trinity Evangelical and Reformed Church of Mulberry.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Clint Haag of Roachdale, Indiana; Mrs Russell Gerard of Lafayette; one son Frank R Baer, of Delphos, Indiana; two sisters Mrs. Verna Mills of Mulberry and Mrs.James Vinard of Lafayette; four brothers, Manson of Dayton, Indiana Harry and Ross both of Mulberry, and John L Hengst of Frankfort Route 7; also 14 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday afternoon at two form the Kleinsmith Funeral Home in Mulberry. M.J. Sprunger will officiate, Burial will be in St. Luke's Cemetery.
