Former Hope Resident, Dies
Alfred P. Bear, 79, former Hope resident, died Thursday evening at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Frank W. Erath, 4471 Pennsylvania street, Indianapolis, where he had lived the past 15 years.
He had been president and co-owner of the Hope canning company.
Funeral services will be held at 3 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the Norman funeral home in Hope. Rev. A. H. Francke will be in charge of the rites. Burial will be at Hope Moravian cemetery. The casket is open at the funeral home.
A daughter, Helen, preceded him in death.
