         Mrs. Bailey Dies At Maynor Today
           Rites Tomorrow, Burial Mt. Tabor

By Register Staff Writer

Pax - Mrs. Bertie L. Sweeney Bailey, 62, died at 6:10 a.m., today at her home at Maynor. Her death was caused by cancer.

Funeral services will be conducted at the residence, on the Maple Fork road, tomorrow at 2 p.m., burial following in Mount Tabor cemetery.

She was born and reared at Sweeneyburg, and spent all of her life in Raleigh county. She was a member of the Pax Church of Christ.

She is survived by her husband, Elbert Bailey, and two daughters, Mrs. Ethel Treadway and Mrs. Othol Christian, both of Maynor.

A brother, John Sweeney, and a sister, Mrs. Eliza Daniels, both of Harper, also survive, along with six grandchildren.

Pallbearers at the services will be her nephews.

        Mrs. H. E. Bailey Dies At Her Home
                       Last Rites Today


MOUNT HOPE - Mrs. Bertie Lee Bailey, age 62, died at her home in Mount Hope RFD No.1, yesterday at 6:10 a.m. A complication of diseases caused her death. She had been ill for nine months.

Mrs. Bailey was a housewife and a member of the Church of Christ at Pax. Her birthplace was Sweeneyburg and she was born February 27, 1862.

She is survived by her husband, H. E. Bailey, RFD No.1 Mount Hope, one brother, John Sweeney, of Harper, RFD 1, and one sister, Eliza Daniels of Harper. Two children, Hila Christian and Mrs. Ethel Treadway.

Funeral services will be held at the home today at 2 p.m. by Rev. Joe Rogers of Mount Hope. Burial will be made at Mt. Tabor cemetery at Mt. Tabor.
