Rev. Lawson Dean Bailey The Rev. Lawson Dean Bailey, 82, of.
Ravencliff, Wyoming County, died June 25, 1988, in a Beckley hospital after a long illness.

He was a member and former minister for the Church of God of Prophecy at Ravencliff. He also was a retired coal miner last working for Bell-Meade Coal Co. at Sabine.

Surviving: daughters, Cora Stewart and Norma Lafferty of
Ravencliff, Virginia Cozort of Martinsville, Va., Josie Deffenbaugh of Covington, Va.; sons, Naol of Gainesville, Fla., David of Bud, the Rev. Dale of Moneta, Va., Billy D. of Fieldale, Va.; brother, Timothy of Maple Meadow; 41 grandchildren; 62 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.

Service will be 11 a.m. Monday at the Church of God of Prophecy, Ravencliff, with Pastor James Spivey officiating. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity.

Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at Tankersley Funeral Home, Mullens, and at the church one hour before the service.
