Frances Laura Adams, 78, of Campton NH, died March 26, 2003, at Lakes Region General Hospital in Laconia NH. She was born in Rumney NH on April 18, 1924, the daughter of Earl and Elizabeth (Patterson) Bailey.

Mrs. Adams grew up in Rumney, attended Rumney schools, and was a graduate of Plymouth High School. She had been a resident of Campton for most of her adult life.

She was a member of the Riverside Rebekahs in Contoocook.

Mrs. Adams was predeceased by her daughter Sarah Clifford in 1992.

Family members include her husband of 37 years, Ronald G. Adams of Campton; son Everett Piper of Campton; daughters Pauline Burhoe of Campton and Melody Clay of Plymouth NH; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

A memorial service for Mrs. Adams was held on March 29, 2003, with Rev. Theresa Gocha officiating. Burial was to be in Blair Cemetery in the spring.
