PINOAK — Enid Mavis Bailey, 86, of Pinoak, died Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at Princeton Community Hospital. Born September 14, 1927 at Pinoak, she was the daughter of the late Tressie McComas and Crancy Mills McComas.



Mrs. Bailey brought her family to West Virginia from south Georgia in 1964. She was a graduate of the first nursing class at Bluefield State College in 1969. She became the nursing supervisor at Princeton Community Hospital until her retirement in 1991. She was a member of Mt. Olivet Church in Lashmeet. She loved quilting, traveling and especially spending time with her family.



In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband and the father of her children, Walter Victor Fletcher, Sr.; her second husband, Denzel Bailey; her daughter, Marcia Lynn; one sister, Ramona; one brother, Tressie McComas, Jr.; and a grandson, Marshall Victor Fletcher.



Survivors include two sons, Victor Fletcher and his wife Lorraine of Daniels and Norman Fletcher and his wife Alice of Pinoak; one daughter, Teresa Brown and her husband Chuck of Pinoak; one sister, Nadine Shrewsbury of Pinoak; four grandchildren, Melissa May, Ashley Foley, Shanna Meadows and Nicklaus Fletcher; nine great-grandchildren, Brittini Orcutt, Alexis and Madison May, David and Kelly Fletcher, Laiken Johnston, Reegan Sexton and Riley and Kinley Meadows; one great-great-grandson, Brycen Orcutt; and another Orcutt on the way.



Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 16, 2014 at the Rowland H. Bailey Funeral Chapel of the Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home in Princeton with Elder Keith Mills and the Rev. Roy Williams officiating. Interment will follow at the McComas-Crotty Cemetery at Pinoak.



Serving as pallbearers will be Ashley Foley, Nicklaus Fletcher, David Fletcher, Brian May, D.J. Meadows, Matt Orcutt and William Rutledge.



The family will receive friends Saturday, March 15, 2014 from 1-3 p.m. at the Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home in Princeton.
