WESTFORD -- Albert W. Baillargeon, 77, passed away on Monday, Sept. 24, 2001, in Fletcher Allen Health Care, Burlington. He was born in Westford on Feb. 13, 1924, the son of Felix and Jennie (Oliver) Badger. He served with the U.S. Army in Italy and later continued service with the National Guard. In the Burlington area, Bert was a roofer and worked at Lamell Lumber Corp. in Essex Center. He was a member of St. John's Club in Lake Side and enjoyed sugaring and the woods on his Westford property. He leaves his wife of 23 years, Elizabeth (Carter) Owen-Baillargeon; two sisters, Lucille and Rita Barnier; his brother, Walter Badger; three step-children, Arnold and Stephen Owen, and Carolyn Conrad; also numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, especially his nephew, Donald Barnier. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph Co-Cathedral, Allen Street, Burlington with interment following in Fort Ethan Allen Cemetery, Colchester. Friends may gather on Saturday at 9 a.m. at Elmwood-Meunier Funeral Home, 97 Elmwood Ave., Burlington.
