Betty J. Bainbridge, 81, of Auburn, passed away Saturday at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, Hershey.Betty was born in Hamburg, Dec. 1, 1929, a daughter of the late John and Helen M. Lawrence Kauffman. S
he was the wife of James W. Bainbridge Sr., with whom she shared 60 years together. She worked as a factory worker at Wright's Knit Wear, Auburn, retiring in 1997.
Betty was preceded in death by her son, Dean Kauffman, and three sisters, Margaret Osenbach, Evelyn Knoblauch and Anna Faust.
Mrs. Bainbridge is survived by her husband as well as a son, James Bainbridge Jr., Auburn, four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
