Funeral Service for John Baker, 80, of Delhi, LA will be at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, January 14th at Young’s Community Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Ron Charrier officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 13th, 2015 from 5:00 until 9:00 PM. Interment will follow at Delhi Masonic Cemetery, under the direction of Young’s Community Memorial Funeral Home-Winnsboro, LA.
Mr. Baker, a farmer, was born October 20th, 1934 in Greenville, MS., passed away January 9th, 2015 in Monroe, LA. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Henry Baker and Cecilia Myers Baker; Brother, Bob Roy Baker; Son, John Henry Baker IV and Grand-daughter, Jodi B. Tatum.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Martin Baker; Daughter, Jefferi Ryals and husband Robert Lee and Grand-daughter, Reagan Leigh Anne Ryals. He is also survived by a host of family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Robert Ryals, Col. Tracy Norris, Frank Poulos, Steve Ogden, Jake Ogden and John Jones.
