Arthur Baker came to Prescott in 1916 and entered the law firm with the late Alpheu H. Favour. He retired from active practice in 1948. He was past president of the Yavapai County Bar Association and developed numerous subdivisions in and around Prescott. He was associated with the First Congregation Church & served as clerk, trustee and deacon and served on many local boards, including the Boy Scouts and Salvation Army. Survivors included his wife, four daughters, a sister, Miss Linda Baker, of Chicopee and two grandsons.
