Charles C. Baker, 82, South Walnut Street Pike, RR 4, died today at Parkview Nursing Home following an extended illness. He was born in Delaware County and spent his entire life in this community.
Mr. Baker owned a creamery on East Centennial for many years and later was a farmer prior to his retirement. He was a member of Friends Memorial Church and the Golden Band Class of the church.
Services will be held at The Meeks Mortuary 3 p.m. Sunday with Xen Harvey, pastor of Friends Memorial Church, officiating. Entombment will follow in Elm Ridge Mausoleum 9:30 a.m. Monday. Friends may call at the mortuary from 2 until 5 and from 7 until 9 p.m. Saturday and any time before the services Sunday.
